Straightforward advice, locally
Stork Financial is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distribution practice based in Asuran, Gorakhpur, run by Dhruva Vishwakarma.
Why this practice exists
Most people in smaller cities get their financial products the same way: someone they half-know sells them something, and they find out years later what it actually cost, or that it never suited them in the first place.
Stork Financial was set up to work the other way round. Understand the person's situation first — income, dependents, obligations, what keeps them up at night — and only then talk about where money should go. Sometimes the honest answer is that they should clear a loan or build an emergency fund before investing at all.
What you can expect
- Plain explanations. If something can't be explained without jargon, it probably isn't being explained.
- Transparency about how we're paid. Distributor commission comes from the fund's expense ratio. You should know that, not discover it.
- No product pushing. Recommendations follow from your goals and risk capacity, not from what pays best.
- Someone local. An office you can visit in Gorakhpur, and a phone number a person actually answers.
How your money is handled
This is worth stating plainly: we never hold your money. Investments are executed through regulated exchange platforms, and funds move directly from your bank account to the asset management company. Units are allotted in your name against your own PAN and folio. Our role is to help you choose well and handle the paperwork correctly.
Independently verifiable
NISM is the certification body established by SEBI. Any of these can be checked on their public registry — we'd encourage it.
Certificates are held on file and can be shown on request. We don't publish the certificate images themselves because they carry personal identifiers that shouldn't sit on a public web page.
Let's talk about what you're actually saving for
A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Bring your questions — about goals, existing investments, or where to begin.
